ETCETERA: Faces of Red
ETCETERA: Faces of Red is a fashion magazine developed as our final project for the Multimedia Publishing course. The publication showcases a range of fashion styling approaches, from a strong and striking appearance to a soft and delicate look, and even to an unconventional one.
As the Creative Director of our team, the concepts I built for our magazine originated from the color red and its varying hues, as I found it fascinating how certain shades could impact the way we perceive certain styles.
From this idea, our magazine explores three styling concepts, namely: Bold & Free, In Full Bloom, and Oddinary.

Concept 01: Bold & Free
“Born to be bold. A right to be free.”
The first concept, titled “Bold & Free,” showcases the side of a person that embraces the boldness and freedom that not everyone can proudly express in a condemnatory world. It’s about standing on a ground with an unwavering confidence that speaks volumes about a person’s true liberation and authenticity.

Concept 02: In Full Bloom
“Unfold your beauty like a blooming flower:”
The second concept, titled “In Full Bloom,” showcases the beauty of a person that is likened to a flower, like soft pinks that invoke a sense of tenderness, while still showcasing the intricacies of it. This concept embodies the essence of blossoming beauty that is about to fully bloom.

Concept 03: Oddinary
“Being unconventional is what makes us stand out.”
The third concept, titled “Oddinary,” showcases a similar message as the first concept, but in an odd and different take. In a world that is often dictated by societal norms, the audacity of oneself to make pecularities be perceived as a common thing is a bold step to embracing its true self.
